Whitley Bay

I'm still not sure about why I didn't get a C in science and can't wait to find out in 8 days time whether it was the test mark or them being thick and telling me the wrong coursework mark of a B. It may need re-marking i think, still.

So this morning i woke up and was asked if i wanted to go to Whitley Bay so i said yes and we spent a few hours there and got fish and chips for lunch and stuff.

We just had sunday dinner for tea as well.

I've discovered the great secret to getting rich on Rollercoaster Tycoon 3. Since your guests don't go home at the end of each day, people tend to charge them for using the rides instead of for entering (or charging for both things but having a low price on both). So i thought outside the box of how i could make paying on entry only work if i wanted to put new rides down and expand the park without these people getting on them for free and i came up with this idea:

At the start of September, I close all rides, shops etc. and the park and make everybody go home. So then i build 3 or so brand new rides and put the entry price up a few pounds and open the park again in March and, without any advertising, they come streaming in. I repeat this process each year and at the moment I'm on year 5 of this and i make about £30,000 on the opening month and then it quickly drops each month but by the time i'm not making enough money from the entrance fee to cover my costs for that month, the visitors get hungry and buy food from the shops which brings in even more. So that time, i ended up with about £40,000 in profit for that year (which increases with each year) - about 10x the amount you could expect to make through doing it the usual way.
