New years eve

posted under by Andrew Hart
Today is New Years Eve. I've been on entropia universe for about 2 months or so now and i finally decided to put some money on so i put on £5. I was telling someone ingame about it and they decided to give me some stuff which i was planning on buying for free. I then spent 10ped (about 70p in real money) on ammo and then i used half of that on hunting and looting animals. I ended up making more money than i used!

2007 sounds like a big number, just like 2006 did a year ago. And we have seen some big things happen in 2006. Lots of world news happens which you forget about like youtube becoming all popular this year, Steve Irwin dying and basically all these other sites being made which are now very sucessful. one i go on a lot now is www.digg.com where it basically has lots of stories about lots of stuff and you can kinda bookmark it and make comments and stuff on all this content. Really, 2006 has been a huge year for online content and next year will hopefully include the release of spore and that again will have a lot more content. Lots of people this year have learned how to hack the Wii and are now making stuff for that.

As i briefly mentioned in my wake-up rant yesterday, Saddam Hussein has been executed. Within 24 hours a video was put online showing everything (there was already a video with the thing around his neck and his dead body afterwards but this one actually showed his death). So what's my opinion on this? I think it's good that he's now gone and everything but i have a feeling that lots of terrorist attacks and things are going to happen as a result of this and don't be surprised if you see more tall buildings being bombed. There already has been 4 or 5 bombs around the place, 1 in an airport i think. Luckily, not many people were injured but still.. it's happening.

On flight sim x i have had 2 attempts at flying into the pentagon to see if it's at all possible actually, and i didn't manage it twice but the second time was due to lack of speed and i do think that had i not have went too low and hit another building by accident, i could've crashed into it. I still think the attacks are a conspiracy though!

So, next time i post will be next year (god it makes it sound like i'm not gonna post for ages lol, it's only tomorrow) and no, i don't have any resolutions. Oh yeah, actually i have 1:

I will change from a n00b to something better in entropia. It'd be nice to own a virtual apartment aswell but then maybe i'd be better off spending the money on real things.

Unfair treatment

posted under by Andrew Hart
Ok, when my mam started working weekends there was nobody here on a saturday morning so my brother already got extra pocket money for hoovering but then the dogs needed walking so he got extra pocket money for doing that.

So now my brother is going "Mam, i hoovered downstairs" or "Mam, i walked Oscar" and then my mam is now gonna get me to walk Molly and do the hoovering for half of the house. Of course all of his extra money is still inact and he makes it every week but i don't get any bonus or anything and at the moment he (who is 4 years younger) gets more than me. I walked Oscar (when we didn't have Molly) every day for 3 weeks during the holidays, sometimes twice a day, and i never got anything in return for it at all.

So coming back to this one, my mam is now saying "If Daniel or you don't do your jobs, you get the same punishment as eachother." I then asked what it was to find out that it was a banning from the computer. My brother VERY rarely goes on the computer and when he does it's just for looking for cheats for some game or something. So if he decided he didn't need any extra pocket money (when he's bought whatever he's saving up for) there'd be no loss but i bet i'd have to continue doing it.

Boxing day

posted under by Andrew Hart
Today was just like any old boxing day. Playing with all the new things from yesterday and eating the leftovers from yesterday.

Well today i done my first proper flight on flight sim x and i was good. I done some quick stunts and then landed. I gave up on the tutorials.

I also discovered that youtube has a new feature of letting you ercord videos straight onto their site with your webcan so i tried that and here is the result:

Christmas Day

posted under by Andrew Hart
It's christmas day 2006!! Hooray! Ok, here's a run down of the stuff i got:

Flight simulator x
Joystick with lots of buttons - very good
That logitech webcam i wanted. On the video lonely girl had of it on youtube which i linked to in october or september, she said it's kinda freaky when it follows you around as a quick comment but it really is. It has a red LED at the side, the little camera inside which you can see moves around up and down and the whole thing rotates left to right. Behind this "eye" you can see a circuit boards. All this adds up to create terminator. It's really scary sometimes lol. I have more to say on this later though.
Little britain talking mug
Little britain series 3 dvd
Little britain live dvd
Little britain series 3 scripts
Little britain autobiography
Peter Kay's autobiography
Alex Rider film dvd - i read the books
£20 off nana - dad's side
£10 off grandad - mam's side

Ok, back to the webcam. For some reason it refuses to do all the cool effects and just gives me crap about restarting which i have tried several times. I have asked on Logitech forums for how to stop this and they clearly know but instead of saying it are giving me cryptic clues as to how i should go about solving the problem.

Apart from those not working though, it still can take video, can go on msn and can follow you around. And because of that, all the people reading this blog who know me online or have found this 1 way or another by chance and are still reading (i think there's a few) then here's my first ever picture of me posted on my blog and it was taken with my webcam today:

Christmas Eve

posted under by Andrew Hart
Today is christmas eve!!! YEY!! Today i opened my last chocolate on my advent calender since it only goes up to 24. It was a rectangle of chocolate with "santa's on his way!" engraved into it. And while we're on the subject of santa on his way.. www.noradsanta.org

The fridge now works with ice cubes. Yesterday it wasn't working because it was too busy making them. We just need some coke now to use it in. Going together with our new dishwasher, it's gonna be hard going in our caravan on holiday with our small little fridge with no water or ice dispensor and that doesn't make slushys and we'll have to do the dishes ourselves.

So.. 1 day to go and i have nothing else to say really!

The end of a series

posted under by Andrew Hart
Well yesterday felt like the end of a tv series in a way. By that i mean everything just wrapped up nicely. I handed in my ICT coursework, done my final exam and handed the disks back to Sam (even though i couldn't put his program on them but every end of series has to have a bad thing doesn't it?).

So i went home after i'd done all that and got here (after walking) at 10.50 and i crept in the back door so when i swung open the living room door the dogs got such a fright and were so exited to see me! They thought they would be alone for many hours after that.

Our new fridge has just arrived. It has so many things like a slush thing and an ice maker and it's so much better than our other one which is just like 1 notch up from a mini-fridge. It's really good.

Exams, Retardism and final days

posted under by Andrew Hart
Well because of the power cut yesterday i had 3 exams today and it was literally non-stop. I done my first exam which was maths and went ok, went for a 10 minute break and then went to do my electronics exam for ages and then i went for a lunch which mainly consisted of me eating my lunch and then dashing off to the ICT room to print off my cousework, show Mrs Dow (i dunno how to spell her name) and then she told me what i needed to add so i sent it home and i've been doing that tonight.

Then we had to dash off to an ICT exam and then after that i went home. Just before that exam though i felt unwell actually cause i had stomach ache all of a sudden. It felt like someone had just kicked me in the stomach but they didn't cause if they did i'd probably notice.

I spent about an hour the other day making a thing on line rider and then i done a screen capture thing so i could youtube it and then it brought up the blue screen of death. I just made a one on the other computer which took me about an hour too and then i came through here after my mam wanted to be on and promised to keep it open. I got back to find my brother on looking at it so i told him to let me back on and he was a retard and pulled the mouse away and in doing so pressed one of the buttons on the side (don't ask, my dad has one of those mouses with everything on) which made the browser go back a page. I lost about 1/4 of it. And that is what i class as retardism (my brothers actions).

Tomorrow is my final day and i'm only in till 10.15 then i walk home cause my mams going to work. The dogs are usually inside from 10.00am till 3.15pm when my dad gets home but that's only on a friday and only been for the past few weeks on my mams new shift at work. So anyways, it'll be a nice surprise for them to see me arrive home unexpectedly after they've seen the school run take place which they now know leads to me going missing for hours on end.

No tests today

posted under by Andrew Hart
Well my exams have went fine this week but today i heard a loud alarm when i was going in which was coming from the place where exams are done. I went to the classroom and found out that our Electronics exam has been cancelled because there has been a power cut in that part of the building.

So we had geography first lesson where we watched Monsters Inc. which i have only seen once a few years and and it was very good. Next we had break as usual and then after break the History people went for their exam (there was sceduled to be a history exam, then lunch, then another history exam to be on after the technology ones which includes my Electronics one). So in Drama and Maths we just done random things really and then i had the worst lunchtime ever which i don't want to really go into detail with. Then in the afternoon we watched Volcano in science and that was good.

So basically, here's what the exam timetable is for the next 3 days:

WednesdayThursdayFriday
First examTechnologyMaths - CalculatorScience - Biology
Second examHistory 1SpanishMusic
Third examHistory 2RE/ICT

So as you can see there's a big gap on Friday and since you don't know, i don't do History, Spanish, RE or Music. We have been told that we get to go home once we're finished all the tests we need to do on friday so i can go home straight after science and some people were set to go home after music. Unofrtunately though, Technology is being moved to where the Spanish exam is and the Spanish exam is being moved to coincide with the Music exam. This means however that some people who do Spanish and Music will have to stay back till the end so they can do their Music exam in the third slot. Where i come from they call that unlucky.

12 days of christmas - Day 12

posted under by Andrew Hart
It's the final day today and as you can see the site has changed and there are some big changes so here's a list of new things:

  • The colour has changed to black. I think it gives the site a new kinda technological feel.

  • It has a new name. The new name for the blog, as you can see at the top is AHposting. That's cause my initials are AH: Andrew hart.. incase you didn't know.

  • The web address has now changed to ahposting.blogspot.com.

  • I now have a good things list at the side. Here's how it's gonna work.. When something comes up in my life which is good, i add it to the top of the list and the list will display 5 things and things will keep on being added and then things will drop off the bottom of the list. First up i've added Entropia Universe.

  • I removed the Links from the side since they weren't very useful. In future if i need to link to something, i'll either post it here or put it in the brand new Good Things list.

  • As you all know, i messed up with the timings for my 12 days so this was originally planned to be posted on the 11th day which i thought was tomorrow but since it ends today i can't post it tomorrow so i'll post it today.. It's a link!! This site is like project rockstar in the sense that it's a online money making game (not real money though). It's called Tycoon Online and the next round of the game starts tomorrow. It includes a guide for when you start to get you going and it works like a big economy with factories, most of which need things which other factories make and you can either own those factories aswell or buy the stuff off someone who does and has sold their things to the overall shop. So add Tycoon Online to your bookmarks/favorites and go on it tomorrow!

And that's it from the 12 days of christmas!

Now onto my personal life. Last night i heard a big boom from all around me and then all the electricity went off. I went downstairs and apparently there was a bad smell coming from the dishwasher (i can't smell things for some reason). So basically it broke down and tripped the electricity for the house. So then it came back on instantly and now my dads fitting in a new one. He got the other one after those posh people who i mentioned ages ago moved house and put in their own dishwasher but gave us the one which they hadn't tested but the previous house owners had left. We got it for free though and nothing got destroyed.

12 days of christmas - Day 11

posted under by Andrew Hart
Well today i realised that i messed up my dates and it turns out that the last day of my 12 days is not a week before christmas but is infact tomorrow.. 9 days before christmas. It's still gonna be 12 days though cause i havn't got 2 extra days of stuff.

Today i have 2 items though. 1 which was planned and 1 which i've just found now but i thought i'd post it anyways cause it's quite good.

Well for the unplanned thing.. i have a quick video of a summary of the year and what a year it's been.. It really has been Nucking Futs:

For the second thing i thought that this blog needed something it hasn't had before so i decided to get a game! This game is one of the only type that i play on the internet and it's a motorbike game which i like.

Click here to play, no download required

Tomorrow is the last day of my 12 days of christmas and i have lots of things lined up including big changes for the blog!

Well today i had a Maths exam and it was ok i suppose. The worst part was that it was a 2 hour exam and most people (me included) spent the last hour sitting there bored. Still, i got to miss most of PE and since we only had 15 minutes of it and bearing in mind that we would have to get changed into our PE kits and then out of them again, we didn't have to do it!! We just done what we wanted in English and then in Bssiness Studies we had a general knowledge quiz which i came last in (stuff like sports, pop stars, recognise pictures and stuff). I recognised the picture she gave us of the Russian spy though!

h yeah, and i got home to find out that my gradnads girlfriend had asked my mam to order tights for her cause my mam does stuff like that around the family and then when they arrived the dogs had been alone since 10am (my mam had to go into work today) and it was probably around 1pm then so naturally they ripped open the packet and chewed the £17 tights to pieces. There was also cadboard and toilet roll everywhere!

And oh yeah, we got a dishwasher!! Although it's not been put into the cupboard space yet, we have it and it's stilling downstairs.

12 days of christmas - Day 10

Today's day 10 and it's time for a video. If you have been living under a virtual rock for the past few weeks you'll not be aware that there's a game out called line rider so it's a double bonus for you! Visit it at www.linerider.com - no download required.

ANYWAYS, today's is a video which someone made with line rider called "Helicopter Rescue". This time it's actually from google video instead of youtube which i usually show videos from. So here it is:

Now onto my personal life.. Well today i had my Chemistry exam and 1 of my Business Studies ones. Science was OK but I think i done very well in Business Studies. My favorite test so far with English as a close second. I still don't like them...

Also, Physics (which i have last lesson on a Thursday) was my first lesson i've had since Tuesday! Tomorrow there's just maths and from now on i think there's just 1 test a day every day. Better than 3...

12 days of christmas - Day 9

posted under by Andrew Hart
OOOH! It's day 9 and there's only 3 more to go after this..

Todays is a christmassy style thing - www.elfyourself.com - get a picture of you and make yourself an elf. It seems good but i can't do it myself because of the very simple fact that i havn't got a picture of me on this computer. Have a go yourself

ELF YOURSELF!!

Well i can't find the timetable for my exams so there's no timetable but today was our first exams and here's how it went..

I arrived at school about 10 minutes late (which is normal) and went straight into the hall to find everyone lining up in english classes so i join the one for my english class. We were then taken through to the other hall and we done our exam in there. The english exam was 1 hour and 45 minutes long and i was thinking i would be sitting there bored for half an hour because i was finished but i was wrong because i just finished it in time and i think if i had another 15 minutes i would have went on to do another page. In total i done over 5 pages.

Then we had a 20 minute break then i was straight off to a 1 and a half hours geography exam. That one was alright and i finished 10 minutes before the bell but went back through it in my head and got 2 or 3 extra marks.

Then came the 30 minute lunch and then onto the third exam of the day, another geography one. This one was a bit harder than the previous one but only a bit. It seemed quite straight forward but i bet my mark comes out crap at the end.

After that we came home.. So that was my day. None stop with exams. Oh yeah, and Molly ate the entire tub of my mams face cream but i think she's ok.

12 days of christmas - Day 8

Yesterday was a link and so is today.

Today though, it's a link to a very different site. This is a site that helps you visualise and come to terms with something you've always wondered - what does 1,000,000,000 pennies look like?

Ok, maybe not but it does show you what it looks like aswell as 1 penny, 16 pennies and then goes up and up and up on a huge scale, comparing the pictures with real life things to help you get a better understanding of how many there really are. It also lists the costs, the weight, size and everything like that.

Now onto my day.. Today we had a fire alarm taking up the first half of English. Tomorrow is our first exams and i have an English exam and then 2 Geography exams (with a 25 minute lunch break in between!!). Still, it gets geography out of the way. I have another english one a week before christmas. I may post my timetable here tomorrow.

12 days of christmas - Day 7

posted under by Andrew Hart
Well it's day 7 and i promised you a link to a cool site. The site is Project Rockstar. On there, you are a band manager. You are given £50,000 to start off with and can make 2 bands for the first 2 weeks and after that you can make 10 bands. Here's how it works:

Every day is a week in the game. Every real life day you see if your bands are busy doing something you've set them or if their being lazy and not doing anything. If they're not doing anything you can set them away song writing, practising, recording, promoting or gigging. You choose the practise procedure, the recording and gigging venue and the promotion technique and also choose how long they should be doing it for.

I said you start off with £50,000 but i'm very good at this game and i seem to make an average of £1.4million every single day.

So if you join up today i'll send you a present and £5,000 extra money. Just email me at simsgenius@gmail.com with your account name and i'll send you the stuff!

And a quick few tips!!! Go for the bands which are cheapest which is the ones with just 1 member. You can get people with the skill they need at 100% in the range of £11,000 - £14,000 salary. For your first band you should definately spend as little as possible otherwise you'll go bankrupt and have to start again so spend under £15,000 on fees to pay them and spend 1 day writing your first song. Record it at a £1000 recording studio and then promote it for as cheap as possible with the promotion lasting just a day. After that day you can probably afford 2 more days on a slightly higher promotion but always keep a balance between the days writing it, the amount to record it and the amount to promote it for the best result.

Project Rockstar

Have fun!

12 days of christmas - Day 6

posted under by Andrew Hart
Well i had most of these days planned in advance but today was an exception and i didn't know what i was going to put.

I found something which i think could be one of the best days for these 12 days. Today i have decided to show pictures of space and space related things which i thought were cool.

This first picture is of the launch of the space shuttle Discovery into space.

This second picture is of sunset from mars. As you can see the sun looks a lot smaller from mars and another interesting fact is that their sky is red during the day and blue during sunset, the opposite of ours.

Another mars picture but this one isn't as colourful as the one above. This is the earth from mars. You can see that, just like every other planet looks like a star from Earth, Earth looks like a star from Mars.

This picture is of another space shuttle taking off but this time the picture is taken from space.

And finally, it's Europe and Africa from space during the change from day to night.

Tomorrow i have a link to a cool site.

12 days of christmas - Day 5

posted under by Andrew Hart
It's day 5 and today it's the exclusive download.

Of course, it's the realease of Iggy 0.8 - my Artificial Life Simulator.

Now your iggys can get jobs with your help and go to work for 10 seconds whenever they want and earn avgold. That's right, avgold. The avnuts are now called avgold. You can also customise the list of jobs through instructions on the guide page on the website.

You can also save all your iggys at once and load them all back up at once meaning you could just leave them going for days. Save one night and load them up the next morning and see how long it takes them to die off or see if there is a sudden surge in their population.

The file is just over 100kb aswell - amazingly small.

So download iggy 0.8 now..

Well today was supposed to be an "exclusive download" but here's what happened..

It was originally gonna go up on day 3 but the person who was supposed to upload it said "won't it be better for a friday?" so i said ok and agreed to have him put it up today. It's now 7PM and there's no sign of him so i'll just post another planned one today and have the "exclusive download" on another day.

Well therefore todays is a video of what the future may be like. This was an advert from AT&T in 1993. Some of their predictions have come true and some slightly differently. Enjoy.

And incase you're interested, they currently have a webpage online where you can type in text and choose a voice to say it and then listen to your text. Click here to see it.

12 days of christmas - Day 3

posted under by Andrew Hart
Hey guys,

For day 3 of the 12 days of christmas i have an interview from one of the workers on a new virtual online world known as Galaxy Life. It's gonna be open soon in a BETA state (not finished) and it's a huge online 3d environment where you start off with your own character and planet and the main general aim is to make money. So here's the interview with one of the people working on this online world, Anne.

Me: What does your character start with apart from the planet? This includes money and basically just everything they have to start off.

Anne: Apart form your very own unique planet (more about the planet in next answer) each character starts by choosing an avatar from one of 7 character types and then they choose set of clothes and customise their appearance (size, hairstyles etc). If people sign up now for the Pioneer Programme or join the closed beta test they will all get a pack of free items (ncluding some rares) to give them a head start, they can sign up at www.galaxylife.com These offers won’t last forever, so it’s worth doing now!!!

2. Is there anything on their planet to start off with and how do they build things and how much customisation of things is there?

Anne: Each planet has their own Lifepod, this will be your home and you can furnish and decorate the Lifepod how you want giving it a unique feel. It is your own personal space where you can invite friends and socialise, so getting it just how you want will say a lot about you .There is also a robobutler in your Lifepod who wil give the player helpful information about the planet. Each planet has some basic terrain which will have been generated by your planet customisation choices, as the game evolves so will the planet, there will be plant life and animals and ecological consequences but this will all come later, the idea now is that you are at the very beginning of this new life and the planet is also just starting out and will evolve with you, altered and developed by , amongst other things, your choices.

3. How do you reach other planets and the central place in space from your planet? Will you have to buy something to get there?

Anne: From Elamaba – the space station and social hub of the universe you can travel to your own or other people’s planets. The travel method is via light tube and it’s free. To get from one planet to another, you need to return to Elamaba by light tube and then chose your destination planet. In the future we will introduce bus and taxi travel as well.

4. Is there any way of getting a spaceship or rocket or something and being able to see your planet from space as you leave it or something?

Anne: Yes we have plans for this and many space craft have been designed!

5. When you build stuff does it cost money for all the materials?

Anne: Yes it does at the moment – prices for all goods start from 1 crown which equals 10p.

6. What's the chat feature like?

Anne: three kinds: local area (talk to everyone in room), p2p (talk to one person) and group (talk to your whole online clan, etc) This is all text based but we have plans for voice chat and that should be implemented very soon!

7. How would you spread the word about your planet? Is there an advertising system?

Anne: We have plans for something like this. Right now, you can write on the forums http://forums.galaxyserver.net/ and let everyone know how great your planet is

8. Is there a way of getting outside content into the game and then selling it for in-game money?

Anne: We have plans for something like this, but it won’t be introduced for a while

9. Is there a way of hiring people and also go into some detail about how businesses and things may be run?

Anne: Labour is done by workbots, not players, leaving you free to enjoy yourself whilst the work is being done. You will be able to develop your planet agriculturally or with mining. There are plans for being able to encourage wildlife and get income via tourism. Trade wil also form a big part of the economy

10. How easy is it to get started?

Anne: We aim to make it as easy as possible! It’s free, a simple download to get started we want everyone to feel comfortable about joining Galaxylife

11. Could i possibly see lots of screenshots of it please?

One of the bars that will be opens soon on Elamaba

A view of Elamaba from space (it’s massive – there will only be a tiny part of the Elamaba open to start with)

a scene of a developed planet with new buildings and evolved planet terrain

Tomorrow there's an exclusive download...

12 days of christmas - Day 2

posted under by Andrew Hart
Well yesterday i had a search engine added to the blog. It's at the right hand side and you can find out how to make sites of your choice more likely to go to the top in the post below.

Now though it's day 2 and it's a video. I thought this video was quite funny and i seen it about a week ago. Click the big play button to play it and enjoy:

And now for a personal bit of writing..

Well today it was christmas lunch in school. There were about 10 stars on the bottoms of plates and out of the hundreds of people getting meals, i got a star and with it came a big selection box so that lunchtime i had:

1 sausage
1 slice of turkey
5 sprouts
1 mashed potato
2 normal potatoes
30 (or something like that, i didn't count) peas
10 (about 10 anyways) carrots
1 lump of cranbury sauce
and gravy

1 piece of christmas pudding
1 lot of custard

5 chocolate bars

So all in all, i'm completely stuffed. I meant to get a drink aswell but it took me all lunch and registration to eat it all (i took my last chocolate bar to registration).

12 days of christmas - Day 1

posted under by Andrew Hart
Hey everyone,

this is the first day in my 12 days of christmas event on the blog. So for the very first day i thought i'd start off with something new for the blog so i come up with a search feature.

It's powered by google but it's a bit different. It would bring up the same search results but i have it set so you can search for things on this blog and certain sites which i have picked out are more likely to come up nearer the top but only if they relate to your search. So here's where you come in..

You can obviously search using it at the side and the search results will come up above the blog (press the back button to get it back to normal) but you can also edit the results.

All you have to do is send an email to simsgenius@gmail.com with a site you think should have priority over all those not picked (billions of them not picked, obviously) and if it's not utter crap, i'll make it appear nearer the top. HINT: If you want your website to get more clicks, this is your opportunity to get it higher on google.

Obviously, the results will only come up higher here and not on the actual main search engine at google.com .

So get searching and come back tomorrow for Day 2...

A few changes

posted under by Andrew Hart
I've changed a few things on this site around. Firstly i've got a new thing above this main bit here. It's just a countdown to cristmas. There was a thing there originally saying "please contact me ....." and that is now at the bottom of the things on the right hand side of the screen. I also got rid of the 'About Me' bit because it only had where iwas from and it was just pretty useless. It wouldn't let me insert my own bits aswell so i couldn't really change it. I may make my own one of them soon and just have that on instead (although it'll look different).

I've also been considering changing the design of it but i'm not so sure about it. Let me know if you have any good layouts if you find any.

On 5th December i plan to have the 12 days of christmas where i post some content on the site every day for 12 days going from then till a week before christmas which is also the date for my last mock exams which are TWO english papers and a business studies paper. There may be more to come.

That box that is now at the right hand side but was at the top saying "please contact me" was actually useful because someone has been searching all blogs for posts saying about entropia universe. Mine came up because of my christmas wish list where i mentioned getting a subscription to something like entropia. So after reading about my interests in entropia she thought she would write to me asking if i would like to be part of the beta of Galaxy Life which is released in beta form in January. So we've sent about 7 emails back and forwards and through reading the site i still don't fully understand how it all works so i sent her lots of questions in my last email and as 1 of the 12 days of christmas there's gonna be an interview with her.

Oscar's birthday

posted under by Andrew Hart
Today is Oscars birthday. He's 1 year old today! We gave him a toy but he's a big softy so when Molly kept snatching it off him he just let her have it. We've also got both of them this soft leather thing in the shape of a christmas cracker and inside is lots of treats so they have to get inside themselves. We're gonna give them those on christmas day though. They'll be happy although Molly's fat so she shouldn't have treats like that really. She was fat when we got her and she just doesn't seem to lose weight.

It's also the first day of the month and the first day of christmas which means it's the first day of our chocolate calander things.

The trip to New York in 6th form is £500 but i really want to go. Maybe i'll manage to get enough profit off entropia by then that i'll be able to pay for it with that. Wouldn't that be good?

My mam wants to swap rooms round between me and my brother so my brother has more room. So basically they want him to have the bigger room and for me to have the smaller room. Bearing in mind that i'd have to ahve something VERY nice to convince me to sleep in a smaller room for quite a few years and live in a smaller room which is a lot more cramped. I also have more stuff than him...

My poor, poor foot

posted under by Andrew Hart
Something bad happened to me today. Here's a quick story:

Well i was running down the stairs for a biscuit or something, i don't quite remember. Then i put my foot down wrongly on the bottom stair and stubbed my big toe on it and then got a fright so i ended up doing the same at the bottom of the stairs (which is a hard wooden floor). I was complaining for the rest of the day that it was sore and then seen later that it had bruised. My mam thinks it might be broken and i think that it'll be too sore to go to school tomorrow. It's not nice when stuff touches it and 7 hours of my sock and shoe constantly touching it without stop and then walking round our big school and walking home (i get a lift there but mostly walk home). I think my dad would probs pick me up but he's careless enough to forget.

In other news, i'm getting better on entropia. I've bought myself a gun and got a mentor. He helped me kill some things and i ended up with about 10PED so i bought a much better gun for not much and then went around killing things with him today. I spent about half my money but it's the skills that count. I'm also almost the highest skill level on sweating which means i may get sweat every time i try, i dunno. It would be good if i did but i think it just increases my chances. I've also lowered my chances of being hit which helps and also concentration skill which helps aswell.

The first organized post

posted under by Andrew Hart
This is the 20th post and the first one which i've actually planned out. Basically, last night i found out that someone on msn works as a telemarketer so i wanted to know quite a few things about it so i asked my questions and then asked if i could put them in my blog. He said yes so here is my interview with my anonymous source:

Me: what percentage of people (on average) would you say decline your survey?

Him: Erm, quite a majority. It depends on the survey that you're doing. If it takes a while then people won't be too keen to do it.

Me: How many people give you a chance

Him: I'd probably say about half but some will let you ring back later.

Me: do you actually ever "phone them back later"?

Him: If we put down that we're to call them later, then someone who's doing that survey is likely to call them back at some point.

Me: have you heard any smart comments from them and if so, what have been the best?

Him: Well there have been arrogant people, I had one today (my second from County Durham) that just went on and on. Fortunately I pushed the wrong button and didn't continue with him. But a lot of people say they're on X-Directory (where they don't expect cold calls), but we use random dialling, which I think is the loophole past it.

Me: oh so do you yourself just type in random numbers or does a computer figure out which ones work?

Him: I have to manually type in numbers for certain options.

Me: so what's the reason for me going "hello" and then a second later there being a burst of noise from the silence and then i hear "hello could i speak to ..... please"

Him: Yeah, I don't know if this is for all call centre systems, but with our one, when the person picks up, it takes about a second or so for our screen to load with the script we have to read out. So if you say hello immediately from picking up, we won't hear it, and we'll have start reading the script, or just ask for another hello if we're not sure who's on the line.

Me: do you ever get "can i have your home phone number so i can call you back at home?" and then you say "no, sorry, i can't do that." and then they say "well at least that way you'd know how i feel."

Him:I've had someone say 'how'd you feel if I were to call you about (topic)'. I wouldn't be stupid enough to give out my personal details. I only say our Call Centre's based in Kent. But I don't see the good side in them being rude, as I could write down their number and make things even worse (though I haven't done).

Me: do you get told to read out your script in an indian accent?

Him: The first time I did market research for another company, I actually did use an Indian accent, because I was calling post offices (owned by Indian's with long names), and I just found it more comfortable to talk that way. But I use my English accent on this job.

Me: do you actually ever personally "phone them back later"?

Him: If we put down that we're to call them later, then someone who's doing that survey is likely to call them back at some point.

Me: Do you ever tell the people on the end of the line when they yell at you "look, it's just my job."

Him: Well, I talk in a more professional manner. I sometimes state my rate of pay if they ask.

Me: what's the weirdest thing you've been asked by someone on the phone?

Him:I don't think I've had any weird requests. Some people ask if they're getting paid for taking part in the research (I didn't know that happened).

Me: and are they?

Him: no

Me: have you ever ended up phoning someone you know?

Him: I've only contacted my own area code once.

So that's everything you wanted to know about telemarketers. They have a script, pretend to be indian and are basically, just normal people.

Next on the agenda is... Entropia Universe. I've been on this quite a lot in the past few days and after a few more days i might be able to move up in the world to the next level. I currently do sweating which makes hardly any money but it's where you have to start (unless you pay them, which i havn't got any money to do but i *MAY* do at christmas). It takes ages to download but doesn't take long to load and what i like about this one is that even though it's a company, they don't make any limits for non-paying people. They just make it hard to start but once you're past that and they've filtered out the people who are lazy and unwilling to pay, it's ok from then on.

This seems like by far the longest post and probably is because of the interview. That's all though. Bye! :D

Catch up

posted under by Andrew Hart
Well not too long since my last post but i thought that since i have had a lack of them i would post again to say how everything's going.

Well today in Drama we had to decide what we will do for our GCSE performance in March. The play has to be 20 minuts long (5 minutes per person) and we discovered that a Sherlock Holmes script Dan had decided to bring in was too short. We also got help from someone who done the exam last year and she said that if we were to do it we would have to do the victorian style perfectly so we put these 2 input things together and come up with the best solution - we'll work around the detective idea with the same kind of characters but write our own script, possibly with a very different detective storyline.

Yesterday i made a christmas list for erm.. Santa? No, my mam asked what i wanted so i told her the following:

  • Logitech quickcam orbit xp - that's the one that the girl used on youtube and got tonnes of views and then logitech offered her whatever she wanted for free cause they had loads of sales after that. i showed my mam the video and she seemed impressed so i'm getting that.
  • Little Britain Live dvd - i went to see this in April and then went to see my favorite author the day before so overall that was a good weekend. So yeah, i want the dvd.
  • Inside Little Britain - I think that's the name of it.. Basically, i want their autobiography book.
  • Little Britain Series 3 dvd - and this is the point where you can say i'm obsessed. This is the final little britain bit of merchandise for now. I have a little britain mouse mat aswell you know..
  • Electroshock pen - Childish i know but still, teach people a lesson for forgetting their own pen. Basically, when you press the button down on the end it gives you an electric shock.
  • Flight Simulator X - I've been told by sean that "IT MEANS TEN!!" but either way, i want it. Seems pretty cool.
  • Subscription to an online game - Not sure what yet. Maybe something like entropia universe or imvu. If anyone has any suggestions for ones where i can do well without paying them then please let me know.
A lot, i know but i don't get money or anything and some of it will be off my nan and grandad (they're on opposite sides of the family so they're not married or anything. I only have 1 of each now, you see.).

I think that lot'll keep me going for a while so yeah, that's what i want. I've only asked for 1 thing each christmas in the past and i've always got stuff that i like but this is a real change.

So yeah, long update for 2 days.

Updates on being banned

posted under by Andrew Hart
Well i have to do over and hours work every day and every single day since i last posted i've been online so that's good.

I asked to go on this morning and they let me so i'm gonna do work later today after going to my nana's who is making pie crust today which is my favorite!

Apparently i'm up to date on my business studies coursework now and oh yeah.. one of our mock business studies exams is exactly a week before christmas. That must be our last day, musn't it? It's on a monday so maybe we'll end on the friday of that week.

I'm on this BEtA version of blogspot still but i wonder when they'll make it into the normal one isntead of BETA. It is taking a long time.

I've also thought that after i'm finished iggy 1.0 i might make a business tycoon style game. Making iggy 0.8 is going well and may be finished quite soon!

And for my next trick.. i shall dissapear

posted under by Andrew Hart
Well i've been banned from doing practically anything over the past week and a half because apparently my school work isn't good enough. My parents went to a special day where all the parents meet with your form tutor who tells you how you're doing in each class. I got an F and a level 5 effort (that's the worst) in english but it seems like a very rogue figure because everything else gave me C's and B's with mostly 2 effort level (that means good and better than average).

So i've been doing 2 hours work every night and now after about 20 hours work i've been given the computer for 30 minutes.

So that's where i am. After the 2 hours work aswell, i have to spend the rest of the day lying down bored.

Apparently this is good for me say my parents. I showed that they couldn't give a shit because i showed me dad a blank piece of paper and said it was my maths work. When i asked him what he thought he said "good." Obviously he didn't look at it.

Did you miss me?

posted under by Andrew Hart
Well i havn't posted in quite a few days because i've been busy making iggy and working on advertising and stuff for it. Just a few quick updates on me.

I've not abandoned this, i'm still going. I got the sims 2 pets the other day and it's very good so far. I may make oscar and molly soon if i get the chance. I dunno if i mentioned it but Oscar has a tiny stubby little tail because that's how he was born and none of the tails are that short in pets and when it's longer it just looks strange, weird and silly.

I've also started on Project Rockstar where you're a band manager and it's a free game which you play through your browser and you go back on every day to set your bands new tasks and see how they're doing. I was addicted to it quite a while ago and now i am again!

Iggy
0.7 i did manage to fix and it's now up for free download on it's website.

Molly's has grown according to people who have seen her once and then seen her again 2 weeks later but i've not really noticed at all. Oscar is still the same old teddy bear.

So that's it for this update. I recall saying this wouldn't be a personal blog but it kinda has turned into 1 in some bits. I think i'm just finding what's right for me and the blogs gonna be set like that and it'll change once every now and again.

Pictures, votes and broken programs

posted under by Andrew Hart
Not had a proper post in quite a few days so here's a few topics in this one.

First off, pictures of my new dog. All the previous pictures we had were of Oscar but now we have another one we can't just leave Oscar out so he's in all of these pictures too. Now acompanying him is our 3 month old chocolate labrador Molly. Molly enjoys walkies, squeeky balls and doing her business in the dining room. Here she is:

Next on the list is the Student Council. I was elected for it over a year ago and today i got first lesson off to count votes which lots of year 9's and year 12's made because they're electing new people. We spent the whole time talking about people and it was quite fun. We also got lots of chocolate chip cookies and brownies to eat while counting the votes up. Turns out that it was close in the 6th form vote (1 person was getting elected, hundreds of votes and less than 5 votes seperating the winner from the person in second place) and not as close in the year 9 vote (3 people getting elected, 1 person with more than half the votes, 16 candidates, hundreds of votes, 2 people less than 20 votes away from making it). It's quite cool knowing who's won when all these candidates and everyone else wants to know and they don't.

And broken programs. Yeah, Iggy 0.7 is in a bit of trouble at the minute and i have no idea what to do to fix it. It's the most bizzare and unexplainable thing ever.

Iggy 0.6 can still be downloaded though at www.huckool.com/iggy.

Release the iggys!

posted under by Andrew Hart
Well to start off i wanna say that i've been working on an Artificial Life Simulation and it's finally released to the public! It's hosted online at huckools site and you can now find a link on the right to it. It's called iggy and it's really easy to use so why not give it a go?

Iggy

And if you want to link to it (please do!) then use the word "Iggy" in the link, apparently it means that in search engines your ranking goes up. That's how they managed to make "Miserable Failure" return George Bush's biography as the first result in google.

So please give the program a go because i spent a while making it (although it was first only intended for my use).

Thanks.

Here's an experiment!

posted under by Andrew Hart
Ok, one of the features of blogspot is that you can set up a top secret email address where you can send emails to that address and it'll post directly to your blog. So i had a thought.. what happens if you sign up for somewhere with email verification and then gave it your top secret address, would it post to your blog?

I decided to find out.. I have set up a blank forum (to save me spamming someone elses forum with a useless account) here. I will then set it to have email verification and make a new account on it and give it my top secret email address. If there's a wonderful verification email post above then it's worked!

EDIT: Blogspot has past my wonderful test. There seems to have been a spam filter which has blocked it. Experiment over! (it's still a sucess because we completed the experiment and got results)

New things

posted under by Andrew Hart
New things!

First off you can see i have a little bit at the top now telling you how to get in touch and please do cause i want feedback on this.

Next thing that's new is dogs! I'm getting a new dog tomorrow. She's called Molly and she's a 10 week old, chocolate labrador puppy. It's quite exciting!

New link.. almost. At the side i have 4 links. Soon i will remove the bottom one and replace it with a link to the NEW website of my artificial life simulator i'm currently busy making.

The website isn't hosted yet but it will all be sorted and online in just a few days time and by that time, verion 0.5 of the program should be finished aswell.

The past week has been filled with wasp stings, angry chavs, annoying teachers, annoying parents and a lack of chocolate biscuits (and my currently beloved crunchy nuts). I guess that's all to say really without boring everyone to death!

Day 6 - 6:25PM

posted under by Andrew Hart
No, i'm not still going through big brother withdrawrals, i'm reading a book about it called "Dead Famous". It's quite good so far. There's a murder in the big brother house (although they can't call it that because of legal reasons but it is definately intended to be that way) and the people in the book who were editing the show made this really nice girl look horrible through editing. I wonder if the real bb does that..

My desk is a one where the keyboard slides out but one of the tracks has just come loose but i'm balancing the wooden bit on top of that track for now so it doesn't go down and take off the other side aswell. Hopefully i'll be able to get it fixed.

2 days since september 11th, 4 days since my last post. I uploaded a video onto youtube ages ago about conspiracies to do with it and over the past few days the hits have went through the roof.

I finally thought i would show you a few photos of my dog. Here's 2 of them:

Those kinda pictures are a rareity though and this is what he's usually like:

There was also a picture of him which was a great advert for a company but i'll not tell you what it was incase i decide to upload it sometime in the future (everyone likes a good surprise!).

But until some time in the short future, bye!

Dinner Disaster

posted under by Andrew Hart
List of food i don't like:

Berries of any kind
Macaroni cheese
beef bourguignon (a thing my parents make)
Soup
Hot Spicy stuff

I used to like some of those things but now they're on my list of things i don't like (have been for about a year). There's not that much really and i'll most other stuff.

Today we've had visitors round so i arrived at the dining room table for lunch to find my dad had made... SOUP! I was like "ok, i don't like it. i must have told you so many times, can i have something else." He said there was nothing apart from the tea stuff so i had to eat it. Wasn't very nice at all but i still had to have it.

Then we went to Jesmond Dene (try searching for it on wikipedia, quite an ok area) for a walk and i was then told for tea we were having beef bourguignon and i went "RIGHT! I was ok with soup and eat it without much complaining but 2 things that i hate in 1 day?? Wait, ellie (1 of the people who visited) is a vegetarian, what's she having?". Wanna guess? "Macaroni Cheese".

By this time i was really annoyed that they KNEW what i did and didn't like and yet they had went ahead without thinking of me and somehow chose 3/5 of the things i don't like. I asked what was for pudding and was pleased to hear "Apple pie". Finally, one of my favorite things. I could just eat tiny bits of tea and then have lots of that afterwards.

So then i was called downstairs for tea once we got home, i wandered through to the kitchen while i was waiting to be told where to sit and then i seen the apple pie.. with some purply stuff coming out a hole in the middle and some around the outside of it.

I pointed at it and asked my dad "what is that?"
"Apple pie" he said.
"yeah, i can see that but what's that purple stuff coming out of the apple pie."
He then talked to my mam whilst avoiding the question: "Where do you want me to put this?"
"What is the purple stuff??"
"Berries."

I was so mad then!! They knew i was excited about that and i told them not to destroy it by making it so i wouldn't like it and they did!!! It's not much to ask, to avoid those things. There are loads of other meals we could have had which didn't involve them.

So now i'm starving. I've had bits of soup, a tiny bit of some potato's he made with the beef bourguignon (which weren't very nice neither although i do like potato's) and now i have no pudding.

Oh yeah, i came upstairs after the meal (we've just finished although they've not put out the pudding yet) to find that the dog had somehow grabbed my mouse off the desk, got the batteries out and carried the mouse downstairs (it's wireless). I'll upload some pics of him in the next post actually.

Enough moaning.. a few days ago i found http://images.google.com/imagelabeler where you can help label the images for google. I think it's quite a good almost-completely foolproof idea.

I'll be removing the sim brother link at the side soon when the series finishes so if anyone has any ideas of what i can replace it with then please let me know (instructions on getting in touch are in the post below but i may also put a thing at the top saying how aswell).

Infestation of.. Daddy long legs!

posted under by Andrew Hart
I just thought i'd write this quickly. It was my first day back at school today. Crap schedule with only 1 good lesson everyday and with the rest being bad. With 4 lessons being 75 minutes each, they just seemed to drag on.

I also noticed that we had an infestation of daddy long legs, of all things. There was this wall with about 25 of them all on and then there were pillars next to it with 4 on. It's spooky how they've appeared there all of a sudden (well i've been off 8 weeks including my work experience as holidays so probably not all of a sudden).

I tried to get that audio thing working but i couldn't. I wrote away to the people who say they're away till the 10th of september so i might have it for next time but no promises.

If anyone knows any cool scripts i could put in for people to mess about with then please let me know (though email if you have my email address, through msn if you have me on that or just on comments if you don't know any of them).

So i guess that's it. I think i labelled the last post at the bottom but i don't think i want to get into doing that so i'll not this time. I dunno, i may change my mind.

Formatting..

Well i'll start off by saying i have a new link at the side which is to Sim Brother. It's run by simmedia.co.uk who is also there (they also own the simtv.co.uk domain which it is hosted on) and it's really good and a few weeks in. It's a good read.

Speaking of Sim Brothers, i'm writing a guide on how to make a personal one and make it really good cause i do it a lot (which i've mentioned more than once, so i'll stop boring you).

I got some sort of virus on my computer or something going wrong where it kept restarting so then i had to reformat it (which means i got all the files off). I had so much crap on so it was good i done that anyways. I sent the few files i still wanted to my laptop over Windows Live Messenger and it was really quick. Sent a 117megabyte file in about 5 minutes.

So now i've decided that i'm not gonna let it get cluttered up with junk and i'm gonna arrange my documents nicely.

The speed of it now is just unbelievable compared to when it was completely cluttered up.

I'll find some more stuff to post and put it in my next one. I was supposed to have this post be all about this text to speech program reading out my blog but it turns out it hasn't worked but if i get it working soon i'll put it in the next one instead. I also want to include an html script thing i found just for fun but i don't know if it'll work. Bye!

I am sunrise.. apparently

posted under by Andrew Hart
You Are Sunrise

You enjoy living a slow, fulfilling life. You enjoy living every moment, no matter how ordinary.
You are a person of reflection and meditation. You start and end every day by looking inward.
Caring and giving, you enjoy making people happy. You're often cooking for friends or buying them gifts.
All in all, you know how to love life for what it is - not for how it should be.
Click on the link, i found it quite enjoyable. You can also get strange things like your penis name..
Anyways, I've been hooked on big brother and after 13 weeks it's finally finished. Pete won which is great. He has tourettes incase you don't know and i'll post a link to a video of him wining so you can see what he's like in my next post. I've started to get withdrawral symptoms so i'm making my own big brother using the sims 2 which is really fun but i won't spend ages boring you about it.
I'm almost finished a project i'm making with someone which is a mix between a forum rpg and google earth. I'll not give too much away because it's a new and unique idea but i will give a link when it's finished.

MI5 rock!

posted under by Andrew Hart
Today i was woken up by being told to go downstairs and watch the news because there was a story on their that 21 terrorists (it may be more now) attempted to blow up lots of different aircraft this morning by making bombs on the plane mid-flight out of special chemicals they've brought on the plane. MI5 had foiled this though and saved the day and none of the terrorists got on the planes and they were all captured (at least i think they all were). Apparently it would have been worse than september 11th.

Over the past few days i've developed a strange addiction to www.cherubforums.com which is some forums for a book series (the books website is www.cherubcampus.com). I've also been inspired to make a movie about war being everywhere in about 15 years time. I'm making it with the movies game and i've done quite a few bits of it so far and have changed lots of bits and moved them around to make it perfect. So yeah, it's been fun.

And to bring an end to this blog post, i shall leave you with this, enjoy: http://youtube.com/watch?v=hwthqRJ1Khg

Back from holiday

posted under by Andrew Hart
I'm back from my holiday to France. It was quite good. My dog Oscar has just learned how to do paw and i'm waiting for my brother to come in to show him it so i thought i'd come on here while i'm waiting. He's about 8 months old now (the dog, not my brother, although my brother usually acts about that age) and he's a yellow Labradore puppy.

I've been thinking about setting up my own proper website but i'm not sure. It would include all my stuff in 1 place (even maybe this blog). I already had an idea for a virtual treasure hunt i could do online and maybe even a series of a sims 2 version of british tv show Big Brother.

I have a company of the day, week, month or even year which i love - Google (and no, it's not because they're hosting this for me). I love Google Sketchup, Google Earth, Google searching, Google Spreadsheets etc. They give so much away for free and they still make loads aswell.

That's all i can think of saying for now really. I just wanted to update to let you know i'm still here and havn't dissapeared after the first post like most blogs.

: )

See you in 2 weeks!

posted under by Andrew Hart
There's a few things i'm gonna post about now.

Firstly, i'm going on holiday at the crack of dawn tomorrow to the south of france, by car. We're away for 2 weeks so that's probably gonna be 2 weeks without any postings but maybe i'll update half way through but then again it's not supposed to be a personal blog.

2 things i wanna talk about kinda link into eachother. They are Wikipedia and World Jump Day.

Wikipedia, as i'm sure you know is found at www.wikipedia.org and it's a massive encyclopedia that anyone can edit and change (although they have loads of people monitoring it so people can't post stupid stuff).

World jump day is on tomorrow. The event was organised by www.worldjumpday.org where they plan to put the earth into a new orbit through everyone jumping at once.

They claimed to have 58,000,000 registered users ages ago (to be a registered user you have to give your email address) when i went on and yet again yesterday. I made a note of the exact number, came back 15 minutes later and it had went down. So i edited the wikipedia page about it (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/World_Jump_Day) so it contained the additional fact of the numbers going up and down. I just checked back there now to discover someone had put it in a new section and they had looked into it and discovered some sort of code showing that the number was very false and it was a lot lower.

That page is very busy recently and it's just amazing how all these people just contribute their little bits to a page to build up a bigger, better and more accurate knowledge base. I'm also glad that my little bit of research was worth it because it has been seen by lots of people wh o have went on there because it's so close.

I am just about to go on there now and edit in a new fact that i ticked the box that said "email me the day before this event" and they havn't done that yet.

So i guess that's it for 2 weeks (probably 2 and a half weeks while i get myself sorted). I'm enjoying coming on here and writing when i want and it not being a thing where i'm like "oh i have to get the next entry out by ______" and i think it's more interesting than those aswell.

Bye!

Is the frosties kid dead?

posted under by Andrew Hart
There's an advert in the uk which has been on our screens a lot lately. If you live in another country or you havn't seen it, view it here:

http://youtube.com/watch?v=-bLndLiDy5w

This advert is one of the most annoying ones i've ever seen after seeing it time and time again. But then 2 rumours started circulating saying that he was dead because:

a. He had cancer and it was his dying wish to be in the frosties advert.

b. He commited suicide due to bullying over the advert.

They are both false. He doesn't have cancer and if he did then no offence to frosties but what teenager would have a dying wish to be in those adverts and which big proffesional company would pay hundreds of thousands/ millions of pounds to forfill some completely unrelated kids wish?

He had been bugged about the advert (whether it was in good or bad nature i don't know) so he moved to africa. He recieves money every time it is played so there's no reason to feel sorry for him. Kellogs (the company who make frosties) also made a statement saying that he was good and well. Them still showing the advert and having it on their website is more proof that he is still alive.

You'll find that near the beginning i'll do a lot of posts until i've said everything i've needed to and then it'll slow down to a regular time between posts. I'll also put seperate things in seperate posts.

Ok, i have 3 links at the side and now i'm gonna explain each one.

www.youtube.com - i have a few videos on there, my username is "ahpro" (without the speech marks or whatever they're called). 1 of my videos is really popular with 10's of thousands of hits and the other 2 don't have nearly as much. but give the site a look, it's basically a place for people to look for videos and upload videos.

www.huckool.com - This is one of my friends on msn. He has let me host a few things on his site so far and it seems to be very popular with his blog and his sims 2 big brother.

www.simmedia.co.uk - They are also a sims 2 site and they also have a sims 2 big brother. Not thaat i'm there for though because i go on the forums a lot and this is where i met "huckool" who owns huckool.com. Sim Media is owned by my friend Jon.

So that's my links!

About me

Just incase you are somehow interested in me, here's some info:

My name's Andrew, i'm 15, my birthday is January 27th, i live in Northumberland in England. I don't like football or any sports like that, i like doing things to do with artificial intelligence, movie-making or radio shows. I'll not post a photo because i don't have one. So that's all i can think of and basically, let's you know who it is that's writing what you're reading.

Oh yeah, and this blog is just a big mess of everything from personal updates to things i'm doing to funny websites.
