My Holiday Blog - Part 3 of 3

posted under by Andrew Hart
Today its Monday and raining a lot today. One thing I forgot to mention in my last post was that we usually go to the nearest site (in this case Switzerland) first and then to the furthest one second (in this case Italy) but this time we done things the other way around for a change. When we were in Italy there was loads of rain here (in Switzerland) and huge hailstones which made there be huge dents all over car roofs and bonnets, smashed some windows, destroyed crops and made huge dents in caravans. Seeing the places selling cars here, you just feel a bit sorry for them cause now all of their cars have these dints in and are probably worth shit all. So I think it woulda been cool and exiting to be here when that happened (we would have been inside the caravan so we would have been safe) but my parents are glad that we weren’t here cause of the caravan and car damage.

Another thing I failed to mention last time was that I finished Harry Potter. I’ll not put any spoilers here but I absolutely hated the chapter called “Kings Cross”.

So since arriving, we’ve had mam’s birthday when we got a cable car up from a place called Grindelwald to a place called first and then had to walk several miles to a lake (which I’ve been to already!!), we went on a boat across a lake and we went to the waterfall where Sherlock homes died in the books.

Its now Thursday. On Tuesday we went to place called Mannlichen (pronounced man licking (we also passed the man licking regina hotel along with a place called wankdoff – pronounced wanked off)). On Wednesday there was some celebration on but I am still unaware what it was. But that morning we left Switzerland and are now on a campsite in France.

The campsite we’re at now we’ve been to before. That time provided me with the worst meal I’ve ever had (in second place for worst meal ever, see this blog post CREATE A LINK HERE TO THE POST!!!!). It was a few years ago and we had green solidified soup to start, chips and something else for main but most of it was covered with what was supposed to be decoration but was just a branch which little flaky bits kept coming off of and dropping onto the food and then chewy icecream for desert.

Speaking of icecreams, I’ve had loads of them this holiday and they’re really nice abroad (I knew this already though). I have discovered that my new favorite combination is straciatella and lemon.

The dogs are going to the vets tonight to make sure they have no diseases or whatever and then we have to take them back into England between 24 and 48 hours after them going to the vets so we’re going back on Saturday morning and should arrive home on Saturday night.

Its now Sunday and last night I arrived back home. In the last few days, I went to the swimming pool for the first time on the holiday, I went to the vets (the vet called my molly fat) and we had the long drive home. So that’s the story of my holiday, I hope you enjoyed it if you read it all the way through.
