The Geography Trip
The year 10's went on their Geography trip last week (well, all the ones who were doing Geography anyway) so i thought i'd write about the Geography trip we went on a year ago.
The youth hostel we stayed in was based half way up a mountain in the Lake District and we stayed there for 2 nights and 3 days. On all 3 of the days, we had to walk miles down the mountain and into Keswick (took us about 2 hours to do this) and then do some research or something and then we went back up (2 and a half hours) to the Youth Hostel. I don't wanna bore you to death with what happened during the time we were in Keswick so i'll only say 1 thing about that bit:
During this time, it was the first week of Big Brother 7. The golden ticket competition had started for 1 person to win a golden ticket and enter the Big Brother house. I was gonna buy a Kitkat when i found a shop selling them with it advertising the competition outside. I realised i had no money so did not buy one. I then found out later that 1 golden ticket had been found there and I still think that maybe if i bought that kitkat, i might have won it. Even though because of the rules, i wouldn't have been able to go in, i could still try and sell it (or exchange with producer for a trip around the camera run :-p - nah, they would never have agreed to that lol).
Lots of stuff happened back at the hostel. Relating to Big Brother, i noticed that the 2 nights when we were there we watched it and although people said "oh, i'll just watch it this once since i'm bored", it was the same people both times. Hmm..
Lots of funny things happened such as putting pillows into my bed to convince a teacher that i was in bed and also pulling a drawer out of a cupboard and watching Mr Graham try pulling the door of it to open it later and then it coming off and him almost falling over backwards.
And, going back to Big Brother for 1 last time... - 1 day till BB8 ;-)
